Update: new food packages (2025/2026)
FL DOC Package Program
Families can buy packages a food package to their loved one quarterly.
The shopping window is about 4 weeks.
Families can spend up to $130 on their loved one. Count that there will possibly be some taxes added and a $5 chipping fee also. Packages are usually delivered starting a month after the closing window, but the speed also depends on the institution.

Florida’s Food and Property Package Program is a new initiative by the Department to provide family and friends the opportunity to purchase property and food for their inmate.  Below are some specifics about the program.

  • The program contains property and food items available for sale
  • There are two vendors providing the program – Access Securepak and Union Supply
  • Family and friends can purchase up to a total of $100.00 from each vendor.
  • Although inmates have the potential to receive a $100.00 worth of items from each vendor the Department’s property rules still apply.
  • If an inmate receives property that exceeds the Department’s limitations it will be held and shipped to the inmate’s home/family at the inmate’s expense.  If the inmate is unable to ship the property home it will be considered contraband and taken from the inmate.
  • Inmates cannot order from the program.
  • PLEASE NOTE: Inmates participating in the Department’s Religious Diet Program (RDP) are not authorized to receive non-kosher food items from the Florida Food and Property Package Program. The vendors will restrict the ordering of non-kosher food items for inmates participating in the RDP program. If a non-kosher food item has been ordered for an inmate whose participation in the RDP started after the ordering period ended, the item will not be shipped and the customer will be refunded. Per the Department’s regulations, inmates participating in the RDP who are found in possession of a non-kosher food item may be required to return the item at the inmate’s expense.
